Synopsis

One hundred issues of the best in horror and fantasy are celebrated in this special 52-page issue of Swamp Thing. Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson's creation of the crusading Earth elemental reaches a milestone that sees Swamp Thing's daughter, Tefe, in a devil of a situation. Tefe was kidnapped by the demons of the underworld, and after rescuing her, Swamp Thing is on a mission to find the powerful water that will enable him to communicate with any other living being - including demons. Only then will he be able to help his daughter, who is now an amorphous, bodiless being, to learn how to return to her own body. The mysterious Parliament of Trees holds the history of the Earth elementals. Its location is the legendary Garden of Eden, now found on the forbidding wasteland of Antarctica. Swamp Thing #100 delves into Swamp Thing's fight with the guardian angel of the Garden, an encounter with a missing elemental - and his quest to teach Tefe how to control her elemental powers.
